1. How do I place an order?
    Orders can be placed by calling our toll-free #888.918.6986 from the hours of 9am-5pm or via our online store @ MYLOgourmet.com, at anytime.  If you ring us and we can't field your call for anyreason, please leave a message and one of our Health Management Consultants will be get back to you at their earliest convenience.

  2. What mode of transportation is used to ship your MYLO order?
    All orders are shipped via FedEx.  Ground services are automatically used for all non-perishable orders.  FedEx Express services will be used for any orders containing perishables, or if selected by the customer for expediting shipping purposes.

  3. How are shipping rates determined?
    Shipping rates are set by FedEx and are based on your; zip code, the total weight of your order, and the FedEx shipping service selected (Ground or Express). 

  4. How is our line of healthy foods shipped?
    All of our fine foods are shipped in our customized, corrugated pristine white boxes.  All perishable foods are packed in foam insulated coolers with special coolant packs to ensure the integrity of those temperature sensitive goods.

  5. What temperature will the foods be shipped & what condition will they arrive in?
    All of our non-perishable goods will be shipped in a dry, cool state and should be stored at room temperature.  All frozen goods will be shipped in a frozen state using our coolent packs and/or dry ice depending on the final destination. These goods will arrive in a frozen to semi thawed state and should be stored in the freezer upon opening the package.  All fresh goods will be shipped in a cold state using our coolent packs and should be stored in the refrigerator.

  6. How long can these perishable foods stay preserved in the foam coolers that they are shipped in?
    Once the perishable foods leave our fulfillment center, they can be preserved for 24-48hrs by using our conservative shipping methods and techniques.  This will ensure the quality of these fine foods.

  7. Where do I place these perishable foods once I receive them to preserve their freshness?
    Non-perishable foods are to be stored in a cool, dry place storage space.  Any frozen products should immediately be stored in the freezer and all fresh foods in the refrigerator to ensure optimum quality.

  8. Can I freeze any of the fresh foods upon delivery?
    Yes, however freezing them will alter the flavor profile and texture of these products.

  9. What is the shelf life of our products?
    The non-perishable products typically have an expiraton date on them, and should be consumed within 2-3 months of receiving them to ensure optimum quality.  As for any of our perishable products; frozen goods have on average a 3-6 month shelf life in the freezer & the fresh foods have a 5-7 day shelf life in the refrigerator, contingent upon the ingredients.

  10. How do I or should I heat up the perishable foods?
    The frozen foods can be microwaved by following the instructions on the packaging or they can be warmed up in the oven if you prefer. Any of the fresh foods can be microwaved for 2-3 minutes, depending on your temperature preference. 

  11. When can I expect my order to be delivered and what is the standard turnaround time to process orders?
    Please allow 12-24 hours for your order to be processed. This time frame is based on market availability and existing inventory levels.
    Once your order is processed and ships from our NEW YORK warehouse, you will receive an email confirmation stating such.  At this point you should expect delivery within 1-3 business days, if not longer based on your zip code.                         For Example: An order placed on Monday by Midnight, will be processed Tuesday and shipped that afternoon for Wednesday delivery.
    *This example applies for all Metro-Area customers, or orders for customers that are zoned for a next day delivery commitment depending where they fall in the FedEx grid, or if customers that select FedEx Overnight Express.

    Perishable policy for frozen & fresh foods: Zip code will determine the shipping method option.                     *2 day MAX transit allowed on all frozen products, *1 day MAX transit allowed on all fresh products
